If it’s true that you slowly become the environment you place yourself in, what environment are you placing yourself in to become the person you want to become?
People who are successful at what they do usually surround themselves with and associate with people who are already “successful” in that field.
Sometimes we have to create that environment to the best degree we can. Today, for my last podcast of 2016, I give a quick review of some of the books I’ve been listening to or reading that have helped me in creating my environment.

One of the great keys to attaining inner peace in your life is through the process of quieting and calming your mind through the practice of silence.
Today I explain how to practice this mystical art of silence that unlocks so many doors of true inner transformation for you.
Whether the person you are forgiving is alive or not, or hasn't even apologized to you, forgiveness is one of the most important keys in your journey toward inner healing of even the deepest of wounds.
Remember that forgiveness is NOT an emotion or a feeling. "Forgiveness" is a decision, though hard to make at times, will keep you from living in the often times turmoiled surface of your life. Unforgiveness will prevent you from reaching the "depths" where peace and strength and and inner joy preside.

What happens when your relationship isn’t going as well as you expected? Maybe it’s even downright miserable. What can you do?
Relationships can be hard. We know. Edrina and I have been together for almost thirty years and, although it’s great now, it wasn’t easy.
I think we literally failed our way to success in our relationship.
Assuming that you’re not in physical danger, in which case you need to get to safety, here are some things you may wish to look at.
Join me as Edrina and I discuss issues from our own relationship, what it felt like, what happened and what was done about it.

“True progress usually only happens when you live on the edge of your comfort zone.” – Seth Spears
Anyone who has “succeeded” in life has pushed their perceived boundaries and excelled into a new found freedom of living.
On the journey to re-discovering the Real You, your True Self and the greatness that you already are, you need to move outside of your comfort zone. You need to stop being a spectator and become a participant in your own life story.
Moving outside of your comfort zone often means facing some of the giants in your life, perceived or real, from your past or your present.
Join Will in today’s podcast as he talks about getting out of your comfort zone… Experience True Freedom.

We teach our kids to be independent, to stand up on their own two feet, to have their own opinions, write their own scripts for life, to rise to the top, to depend on no-one and to be the masters of their own success.
Yet, there many highly effective and ‘successful’ people who will tell you that this worldly viewpoint does not lead us to lasting success.
We are all connected to a much larger whole and we all are all interdependent on that whole. We are as interdependent on those around us as we are on the air we breathe to survive.
Listen as Will unfolds the story of interdependence as a key to our success in living a fruitful life.

This talk isn’t for everyone. It’s for those who are ready. This talk is different.
The world doesn’t like to see failure, yet ask anyone who is “successful” in life and you’ll see someone who has failed many times.
Any motivational speaker will talk about getting back up, and it’s not how often you fall but what you do when you get back up.
Yet, this talk is different. It’s not for everyone. To truly succeed in this life, to discover the Real True You, it is mandatory that you fail. It is a prerequisite to success.
This episode’s quote is from Ray Bradbury, “You will find out how to unfold your wings as you fall.”
Today we talk about how the forest fires and hurricanes in your life can bring what you need to grow.
Begin by giving yourself permission to fail. Only then can you begin to succeed.

I’m really excited about the new format of the podcast. Personally, I find it more entertaining yet it still contains heart.
In today’s podcast I share a story about doing something so off the wall, for me, but it worked out great. I also share a letter that I sent to my cousin in England about awareness and meditation especially at the start of your journey.
I also have a simple tip about how to keep your kitchen cutting knives sharp AND….wait for it…. an absolutely AMAZING Caesar Salad recipe that will quickly become your secret recipe as people beg you to bring it to every pot luck and family gathering you attend! (By the way the missing measurement for the oil is ½ a cup of the oil. I list it on the download but forgot the measurement on the podcast). – Smiles!
You can download the recipe and the “letter to my cousin” from the website: TheRealTruthAboutYou.com Go to Episode 32.

During my cancer recover process my health is not always the greatest. These past few weeks have been like that. So, today, I’ve published this podcast that is a compilation of various insights I recorded about life, as my health allowed over the past couple of weeks. The insights are described below.
One) I got myself into a pickle on the phone that made me angry. Then one of my own podcast episodes popped into my head and I had to eat humble pie.
Two) A woman gave me permission to share a discussion I had with her about a social media comment her husband made that led to an argument and eventually to awareness and healing. Even though the events seemed bad at the time, not judging the actual situation led to some amazing insights into her life.
Three) The difference a passion in your life can make.
Four) How taking a Time Out can help you to move ahead – this one recorded by my wife Edrina.
Many of the most popular songs, TV shows and movies on the planet appeal to our negativity. Why is that?
We find it easier to blame, to argue, to justify hurts and so much more because it's easier to do that than move inside ourselves. However we do it, we'd rather run than deal with certain issues.
Yet this leads often to a life we wished was different.
The mind is a powerful muscle, creating so many neural pathways. These pathways could lead to powerful and positive things in your life if you know how to "program" them. Sometimes it seems so difficult to break free from the things that keep you 'down'. Yet, the solution is at hand. It always has been.
Join my guest podcaster, Tami Dovell, as she takes over today's podcast to talk to you about how to blow away your fears and negative thought processes and replace them with what is good and whole.
In this podcast Tami is addressing a small and intimate group of people at one of her meditation nights.
See you in the podcast.
There are times in life when you can’t give what you don’t have. If you don’t have money then you can’t give it. If you don’t have energy then you can’t give it.
But, on this journey to discovering the beautiful and real you, your true self, you have everything you need already.
Join me, Will Sinclair, in this short podcast as I show to you what’s already there. All you need do is say “Yes”.
Where do true wisdom, courage, peace and love really come from? Can we attain them on our own merit?
The Serenity Prayer, a very famous prayer, can help us on this part of our journey toward fully realized peace and love in our lives by offering us words of wisdom in the request it makes and who it makes that request to.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
On the journey to discover our true self, to discover true wisdom and true peace of mind, we must connect with the Divine. We must enter into a meaningful relationship with our God within. We must go deep.
Today's busy world aspires to keep us "self" fulfilled where we actually need to become God fulfilled. Instead of "me" centered we need to become God centered. This is when we truly become the authentic peace and love, the true words of wisdom and the courage that we need not only to live out our true self but also to be what the world needs us to be.
Mother Teresa said, "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." Meditation and contemplation are acts of continual surrender that can connect us to the true God within.

Unconditional love is easier to step toward and even achieve in your relationships, whether that's with your life partner, your kids, your family or even your friends, when you consider how your past is forging your present reality.
I had never realized how the past, that of my mother, who I now love dearly, and then my own past had moved from the abusive relationship of my childhood and into my marriage. My relationships were adversely affected by the hand-me-downs I had allowed myself to inherit and then pass on.
My saving grace and the start of my path toward real love, that pure love which comes from a heart that has actually been freed to love, began with a major argument and a statement that changed my life. The cycle of the past was about to break.
Today's podcast is the story of my mother, a desire to murder, and how that connects to my story and maybe yours.

Have you ever noticed that some days certain people and situations annoy you or even make you angry and on other days nothing seems to bother you? That’s because it’s rarely about the other person. It’s usually all about you. In this section I share something I call the “Iceberg Theory” that I learned from one of my counselors many years back that has helped me immensely in life.
As your inner healing and your outlook on life as well the sense of peace in your life increases, you will discover that others around you will also be affected in a positive way. Healing and peace will most likely permeate through your family. My wife and I have definitely experienced this.
My wife always says, “Don’t rely on someone else to make your happy. Be happy first.” Here’s the danger of only allowing external things to make you happy.
When he was alive, my father-in-law, Ed Brittin, was one of the most loving and forgiving men I'd ever met.
He was an alcoholic who discovered the unconditional love of God in his life. He moved from anger to a message of hope and the realization that you needed to love on another to survive. And, to do that, you needed to learn how to love yourself and how to forgive yourself. To him, love became an action word. He first discovered the power of love from God and he extended that love to help people in his community that no one else would touch.
Listen to his love story with God and people. It will move you and inspire you. Your love and friendship with yourself and others will grow. Be inspired as I was by this man's life.

Believing in God is not a prerequisite to living life on earth. But, if you do believe in God and you do believe that God created you and everything else in this universe, then the question I ask today may act as a “checkpoint” in your growing faith journey. It may help you to take a step back from your life and ask what truly motivates and drives you. While we all at least try to live the life we know to be true, taking a snapshot of our current life story is like taking a look around us, or at a map, to discover where we truly are and where we want to be. This is a question and message for those who believe in God, yet others may also get insights and inspiration from today’s message. We are who we are and we become what we become. Take a listen to today’s podcast and ask where your life’s at and if God is truly enough for you.
