Today’s podcast is a little different. Today I’m celebrating International Podcast Day. #podcastday
To help celebrate, I asked you to pick a new theme song for the show and in this episode I announce and showcase the winning piece.
I also talk to you about podcasting, what it is, how hard is it, can you make money from it and what has podcasting done for me.
So, join me on today’s show. You just may discover a new passion.
During my cancer recover process my health is not always the greatest. These past few weeks have been like that. So, today, I’ve published this podcast that is a compilation of various insights I recorded about life, as my health allowed over the past couple of weeks. The insights are described below.
One) I got myself into a pickle on the phone that made me angry. Then one of my own podcast episodes popped into my head and I had to eat humble pie.
Two) A woman gave me permission to share a discussion I had with her about a social media comment her husband made that led to an argument and eventually to awareness and healing. Even though the events seemed bad at the time, not judging the actual situation led to some amazing insights into her life.
Three) The difference a passion in your life can make.
Four) How taking a Time Out can help you to move ahead – this one recorded by my wife Edrina.
Many of the most popular songs, TV shows and movies on the planet appeal to our negativity. Why is that?
We find it easier to blame, to argue, to justify hurts and so much more because it's easier to do that than move inside ourselves. However we do it, we'd rather run than deal with certain issues.
Yet this leads often to a life we wished was different.
The mind is a powerful muscle, creating so many neural pathways. These pathways could lead to powerful and positive things in your life if you know how to "program" them. Sometimes it seems so difficult to break free from the things that keep you 'down'. Yet, the solution is at hand. It always has been.
Join my guest podcaster, Tami Dovell, as she takes over today's podcast to talk to you about how to blow away your fears and negative thought processes and replace them with what is good and whole.
In this podcast Tami is addressing a small and intimate group of people at one of her meditation nights.
See you in the podcast.
There are times in life when you can’t give what you don’t have. If you don’t have money then you can’t give it. If you don’t have energy then you can’t give it.
But, on this journey to discovering the beautiful and real you, your true self, you have everything you need already.
Join me, Will Sinclair, in this short podcast as I show to you what’s already there. All you need do is say “Yes”.
Where do true wisdom, courage, peace and love really come from? Can we attain them on our own merit?
The Serenity Prayer, a very famous prayer, can help us on this part of our journey toward fully realized peace and love in our lives by offering us words of wisdom in the request it makes and who it makes that request to.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference."
On the journey to discover our true self, to discover true wisdom and true peace of mind, we must connect with the Divine. We must enter into a meaningful relationship with our God within. We must go deep.
Today's busy world aspires to keep us "self" fulfilled where we actually need to become God fulfilled. Instead of "me" centered we need to become God centered. This is when we truly become the authentic peace and love, the true words of wisdom and the courage that we need not only to live out our true self but also to be what the world needs us to be.
Mother Teresa said, "There is more hunger for love and appreciation in this world than for bread." Meditation and contemplation are acts of continual surrender that can connect us to the true God within.
Join me in today's short podcast based on the serenity prayer.
